b. 1987, USA. Kelly (Ranck) Johnson is a photographer and filmmaker based in Central Vietnam.

Kelly is a storyteller who aims to create photographs and films that educate, inform, and connect individuals and communities by drawing attention to one another's shared humanity. 

She has completed assignments in Chad, Somalia, South Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, Congo, Rwanda, Colombia, Costa Rica, Vietnam and across the Western USA. Her work has been featured in the The Huffington Post, The Other Hundred, The Seattle Globalist, Maptia, and The ONE Campaign among others.

Kelly is particularly drawn to the stories of refugee women and mothers. 

She currently lives with her husband in Central Vietnam while he pursues stone sculpting and she pursues eating (and, of course, storytelling).
