b. 1987, USA. Kelly (Ranck) Johnson is a photographer and filmmaker based in the PNW with her husband and two kiddos.

Kelly is a storyteller who aims to use photography and words to educate, inform, and connect individuals and communities by drawing attention to our shared humanity. 

She’s completed assignments in Chad, Somalia, South Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, Congo, Rwanda, Colombia, Costa Rica, Laos, Vietnam and across the Western USA. Her work has been featured in the The Huffington Post, The Other Hundred, The Seattle Globalist, Maptia, and The ONE Campaign among others.

Kelly also has experience as a Public Relations specialist, amplifying clients across digital health, life sciences, medical tech, agricultural tech and climate tech verticals.

Kelly is particularly drawn to the stories of women and mothers.
